Your one-on-one messages are encrypted end-to-end. This means only you and the person you messaged can read your message. Message content (text, photos, videos, audio) are encrypted on the sender's device, and can only be decrypted on the receiver's device. This means that even if the data is intercepted during transmission, it remains unreadable to anyone who does not have the appropriate decryption key.
