Welcome to UTurn Systems! By accessing our website (https://uturnapp.com) and using our applications (collectively, our “Services”), you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these rules, please do not use our app or website.

These Terms form a binding contract between you and UTurn Systems Inc.

1. Account Eligibility

By setting up an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and can legally enter into this agreement. If you are using our app on behalf of a company or group, you represent that you have the authority to bind that group to these terms.

Note: Our local neighborhood discovery feature features separate, stricter age rules to ensure personal safety, explained in Section 5 below.

2. Changes to These Rules

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any updates will apply immediately as soon as we post them on our website. Continuing to use the app after we update these rules means you accept the new changes.

3. Safe App Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use our app only for safe, lawful purposes. To keep our community clean, friendly, and human-focused, you explicitly agree never to:

  • Violate any local, state, federal, or international laws.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or code loops to send mass messages, create fake profiles, or crawl our network systems.
  • Use our app to send unsolicited spam, marketing materials, or advertisements.
  • Disrupt our network equipment, interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the app, or attempt to hack our server systems.
  • Use your messages or group spaces to distribute material related to child exploitation, physical abuse, illegal trafficking, or threats of violence.

4. Your Account Security

UTurn runs on an independent, private setup that handles account security differently than traditional messaging tools:

  • The Setup: You sign up with an email address. We never ask for or link your account to a physical SIM card or phone number. Your account is assigned a random UTurn ID number to keep your identity private.
  • Your Responsibility: Because your app is not tied to a phone company record, and your conversation logs are stored exclusively on your physical device, you are entirely responsible for keeping your phone secure. UTurn cannot recover your personal conversation history or reset your encryption keys if your phone is lost, stolen, broken, or wiped.

5. The Connect Feature & Physical Safety Rules

Our Connect feature provides a completely optional neighborhood map that shows other local users within a small 2-mile circle.

  • Higher Age Requirement: You must meet the minimum legal age required to meet up with strangers independently in your local area (usually 16 to 18 years old) to turn this map on. By using it, you warrant that you meet this safety age.
  • Real Profiles: You agree to create a separate profile for this feature using a friendly nickname and genuine pictures of yourself. Using automated tools to spoof or fake your location on the map is strictly banned.
  • ASSUMPTION OF PHYSICAL RISK: UTURN PROVIDES LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD COORDINATION TOOLS ONLY. UTURN SYSTEMS INC. DOES NOT VET, BACKGROUND-CHECK, OR VERIFY THE IDENTITY OR CRIMINAL HISTORY OF THE USERS ACTIVE ON THE MAP. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT MEETING STRANGERS IN THE REAL WORLD CARRIES INHERENT RISKS TO YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY, HEALTH, AND PROPERTY. YOU AGREE TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY PERSONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND EXPLICITLY ASSUME 100% OF THE PHYSICAL, LEGAL, AND OPERATIONAL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH REAL-WORLD MEETUPS ARRANGED VIA OUR APP.

6. Ownership of Material

All content on our website and applications—including texts, graphics, software code, application layers, logos, and layouts—is the property of UTurn Systems Inc. or our partners and is protected by copyright laws. You are given a limited, revocable license to run our application on your phone. You may not copy, share, reverse-engineer, or attempt to recreate our code or server software without our express written permission.

7. App Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without any warranties. We cannot guarantee that the app will always be completely uninterrupted, entirely secure, or error-free at all times, or that our privacy framework will remain completely infallible under extreme state-level internet interference.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UTurn Systems Inc., its officers, directors, and developers will not be liable for any accidental, special, or indirect damages. This explicitly includes the loss of communication tools, data loss from losing your physical phone, or any personal harm, injury, or distress resulting from real-world, face-to-face meetups arranged using the Connect feature.

9. Protecting the App

You agree to defend and hold harmless UTurn Systems Inc. and our team from any legal claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) that arise from your violation of these terms or your misuse of our app.

10. Terminating Account Access

To protect our physical systems from mass automated spam, malicious software scripts, and severe abuse, our equipment monitors basic message counts. UTurn Systems Inc. reserves the right, at its single discretion and without warning, to permanently close, block, or delete your UTurn account number if our security flags confirm that your account is running automated bot programs or participating in severe harmful behavior.

11. Governing Law

These rules are governed by and built in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any legal disputes or claims arising from your use of our services must be handled exclusively within the courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
